The Compassionate Life Coach

"I won’t take you anyplace I haven’t been."

You are in pain, perhaps physical, emotional or spiritual and you know there is more to it than meets the eye.

You are disconnected and surrounded by fear all the time.

You need a tour guide of the soul, a compassionate life coach to shine a flash light in the scary places, someone to hold your hand when you venture into the unknown.

And let me tell you, I have been a few places, many unwillingly, being dragged kicking and screaming, cause that’s how spiritual growth goes when one is resistant. And let me tell you I am as stubborn as they come. I would prefer to sign up for ease and grace, but that’s not how it always goes, so I surrender, I trust and I grow. And you can too!

If it has to do with life and the challenges we face as feisty souls, my list of credentials is above.

Casey's            Best Friend MaryBeth Templeton

“Casey and I have been close friends for over fifteen years, through many ups and downs. The past few years especially have presented many challenges for Casey. Despite these challenges, she is remarkably able to stay focussed on her values and the kind of life she is committed to living. The way Casey handles herself in life is the best recommendation for her professional services that I can imagine. There will always be difficulties, and Casey is an expert at minimizing suffering and finding the joy in any situation.”

You have the Best of Intentions

You long to be a person who lives their spiritual values out loud but when faced with challenge always seem to fall flat or become a deer in headlights. You need someone who’s ran the course and survived or improved with each new attempt at the path.

Reassurance

Let me tell you, I have been a few places, many unwillingly: being dragged kicking and screaming, cause that’s how spiritual growth goes when one is resistant. And let me tell you I am as stubborn as they come. I would prefer to sign up for ease and grace, but that’s not how it always goes, so I surrender, I trust and I grow.

And you can too!

Credibility

I lead from a place of experience, coming from (and surviving!) my own lifelong journey through depression, anxiety, PTSD, major life changes and illness. I help people using the same tools that have helped me: connection, love, and honour of our own and others’ paths, feelings and needs.

Formally, I studied philosophy, psychology, sexuality, nutrition and physiology at University of Guelph before training at the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where I specialized in acupuncture. I continue to pursue spiritual learning and other professional development through a variety of teachers, courses and workshops, and self-instruction, and am an established Reiki Master, Yoga teacher and Doula. I also uses my knowledge in chakra therapy, channelling, intuition, and constellations/ancestral work to help people on their journey to feeling better.

I have been told I am master communicator (truly this is an ongoing evolving skill), learning how to connect through non-violent communication and the work of industry experts including Brene Brown, Byron Katie and Pema Chodron. In my free time (of which there really isn’t much!) I love to spend time with my two amazing children, go dancing with great friends, keep fit through running, hula hooping and gardening (great for mind and body), and have incredible adventures that nurture my feisty soul.

“Casey made the idea of change less scary. She showed how gradual and easy growth was the best path. I appreciated Casey’s logical and structural perspective of the human spirit. I would highly recommend her as a safe, trustworthy tour guide of mindful health.”
